Jess Zanoni sings and plays bass on all tracks. She wrote the lyrics for all songs, some of them were written here in Melbourne, and some were written during her time in Portugal of July 2016.

On Follow Towards, sound recordings that Sam captured in 2015 of Budapest, Amsterdam and the Grünau river in Austria are included. In Flutuar, the sounds of children in Lisbon and of voices in Edinburgh are also included.

All songs were mixed by Liam Barton, and mastered by Jimmy Chang.

Track Name: Sintra
I would have done it a thousand time, remember you in the springtime light

Just to hide away, oh hide me away, please hide me away, just hide me away

Bury me under the green & lay me down so you can see

Hold me for a thousand days, hold me in a thousand ways, collect yr sighs and make you stay

In time both yr hands in mine, it's like a record I could say, yr heart's a parcel I can carry away
Track Name: Follow Towards
It's all in your hands
and to say that yr certain is wrong
don't be surprised, you say nothing's lost oh yr wrong
don't play a child's game, to say that I hurt you it's so untrue
it's in all in your eyes
& if you guide me I warned you, i'd go along

Is there something unknown?
Some sort of words to untangle oh
I thought I could shelter-
I want to salvage this man but I won't
can't help feeling this way
like I’m somebody else the end's not far away
I wanna let go now
cos when I wake up it's not fair remembering it all

I'll follow towards with both my arms
but it's so frustrating how it never goes how I want it to
I could give up what moves my heart on the other side it's still part of me
I’ll follow towards your love, oh take me in I feel ready now
oh take me beyond it all, only you who knows where I need to go
completely arranged despite the light it won't extend over me
I’ll follow towards yr worth, oh, I’m so sure
oh take me in I feel better now
I’ll follow towards your love, can see it all right in front of me
to know it all on my own, oh bring me in I’m not full of fear
I’ll follow towards the earth, oh take me in I feel bolder now
take me towards it all, oh I feel better now
Track Name: Sun On My Back
When I’m by yr side it feels like
I can read yr mind
it's clear water

I could read the signs but still it
comes as a surprise
the way it ends
it swells & then still

I'll never wait besides
I’m changing
though I can't forget him
he's like the sun on my back

I could be the one I know it
god if I get the chance
you'll be the first to see
Track Name: No Home To Know
No rest, I'm sure
No fate to steer me along
No season to look for

There's no space, no other place to grow yr world
Nowhere but here

I seek somewhere to show
compassion when one needs it most
a sound to ease when I'm worn
there's no trade, no other home to know but yours
no where but here

No way, no place, no space, no home to know but yours
I have no other doubts
Track Name: Fortunes
Brazen and wild dark
we could never be apart

Overnight it won't feel right

Forever dreaming of another place where I can fall into my fortune
a lifetime isn't too long but I'd skip it anyway
don't stay there, looking at it too long or the past will fade away
my longing, couldn't build into faith it just took another shape

Tropic embrace my blue light
we could never be inside

Overnight it won't feel right/you won't feel right

I want you to know me it's not much to ask of

Forever, forever outside now
Forever I'm dreaming out loud
Track Name: Psalms
I just saw you by the coast on my way to River Aire
born in rolling red hills, though you found me in the sea
the kind of feeling you get being out for too long
the kind of feeling you get when you're walking back home

All that you are now, yr secrets out in the rough
all that you are now, an island I forgot
I couldn't see you, you're a mirage to me now
I couldn't heal you, you come from places I've lost

I saw a sun dial this morning how many years has it been?
Voice of my friends on the ceiling I wanna tell them I need them
The kind of feeling you get standing still for too long
The kind of loving you get when you don't wanna drown

It's too late it's gone/you're gone
Track Name: Flutuar
Speak too slow, the world is way too loud
you're wearing me down, and out
the tide is way too high, I'm watching you float away
my heart is way too full, and I can't believe you're gone for good
